Yarwood Cutting helps with NHS PPE

Yarwood Leather is proud to be helping the production of PPE for the NHS.

A small number of Yarwood’s cutting team have changed from their usual role of cutting leather sofas and aircraft seating to now cutting tunics, trousers and uniforms for the NHS.

Yarwood is still open for business, with the team working remotely, but this production allows us to utilise the cutting technology normally used for leather cutting to assist in producing PPE.

The Gerber Taurus machines normally used to provide cut leather parts are now cutting NHS fabric, which is being cut and then distributed to be sewn.
