5 Ways to use Mustang Pumpkin in seating design

5 ways to use Mustang Pumpkin

The rich orange tone of Mustang Pumpkin was introduced into Yarwood Leather’s offering late in 2018. A truly autumnal tone, (inspired by Pumpkins believe it or not!) Pumpkin creates unique seating, embracing the natural characteristics of leather and offering a deep orange tone that isn’t too bold.

Mustang Pumpkin has been used across a wide variety of seating projects, here we take a look at five ways Mustang Pumpkin can be used in seating design.

Accent piece for the home

Whether its a home office or lounge seating, Pumpkin is perfect for adding a touch of colour into your design. Paired here with Mustang Reef, the teal and orange combination is giving us serious home envy!

Create a country feel

The Mustang range is perfect for spaces with a rustic feel, the natural tones and characteristics found in the leather range create a lived in look, which only gets better with age. In this country pub, Mustang Pumpkin features on Taylors Classic’s Salisbury Button Back Armchair, paired with a tweed fabric.

The combination of leather and fabric feels right at home in this pub, perfect for enjoying a drink by the fire.

Fluted back detailing

Paired with beech timber frames, in this bar project, BPR Contract Furniture added vertically ribbed detail to these benches. The fluted backs along with the striking pumpkin tone make this bar a very inviting space indeed!

Breakout with colour

In a large workspace, it’s essential to have spaces for employees away from the desk. Did you know orange tones can help stimulate mental activity? Orange tones are also linked with promoting creativity, so this Oyster chair from Sven is ideal for a meeting space.

Classic deep button detail

Orange tones are also known for increasing appetite… perfect for restaurant seating! Pumpkin features in this diner for comfy booths ideal for a family dinner with the uniform diamond buttoned detail enhancing the pull up finish of Mustang.

Although Pumpkin may be considered an autumnal tone, it can be embraced all year round. Request a sample for your next seating project.
