Restored Helicopter makes Amazing Space

Helicopter restoration

If you’re a fan of George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, then you will be familiar with Maria and her restored Helicopter!

In 2017 Maria and her son Freddie impulsively bought a derelict helicopter from The Helicopter Museum in Weston-Super-Mare after seeing a photo of it in the gift shop on their way out. The plan was to turn it into a home cinema in the garage at their house in Wiltshire.

Maria then decided to contact George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces to see if they would be interested in filming the project and, much to her surprise, they were! So here it is a few months down the line – a helicopter that went from crashed to incredible in just a few short (but rather stressful) weeks.

Yarwood Leather were happy to be part of the project, supplying our Style leather in Stone for the cockpit seating, which turns this Helicopter into a cool home cinema or party room, complete with its very own secret mini bar.
