Taylor’s Classics

Embracing the best in British Furniture, Taylor’s Classics provides a unique offering of chairs, tables, stools and benches to the contract and hospitality markets.

Taylor’s Classics have been using our Heritage range across several projects since its introduction to our ranges in 2016, as well as our loved Mustang and Utah ranges. We’re taking a look at just some of the pubs, bars and restaurants which Taylor’s Classics work with.

Bailiwick Free House

New owners meant a new look for the Bailiwick Free House, Windsor.

Traditional classic furniture from Taylor’s Classics was chosen to create a country pub feel, including Audley Armchairs in our Mustang Bottle.

The Fox & Hounds, Barley

After seven years of having its doors closed, this 17th Century pub has been beautifully refurbished. The Grade II listed building has been transformed to its former glory whilst introducing an evolving menu based around local produce.

The decor promotes the local, friendly atmosphere. Taylors Classics provided seating, including this Chesterfield sofa in Mustang Rust with deep buttoning detail, perfect for relaxing with an evening drink. Patrons can also relax by the fireplace in the Salisbury Button Back Armchair, in Mustang Pumpkin, paired with tweed fabric.

The Alchemist – Liverpool

Situated within a Grade II listed building in the heart of Liverpool’s financial district, The Alchemist Liverpool embraces, “exposed ancient brickwork, reinstated wonderful wooden floors and a touch of our own alchemy with a stunning commissioned mural, setting the tone for a decidedly unconventional bar and restaurant.”

For the Liverpool restaurant, Taylor’s Classics provided bespoke chairs, stools and tables, making this project truly unique. Our Heritage Caramel is seen throughout the bar on Taylor’s classic seating.

The Alchemist – Nottingham

Over in Alchemist, Nottingham, the Louvre Side Chairs were chosen in Heritage Whisky. This bar had to fit in with Nottingham’s history of outlaws and situated in a gothic building, brings a dark and mysterious decor to pair with the Alchemist creative cocktails.

The Alchemist – St Martins Lane

In the heart of Covent Garden, the theatrics of Alchemist comes to play in St Martins Lane. Taylors Classics Louvre High Stools were chosen, once again in Yarwood Leather’s Heritage Whisky.

The Roe Deer, Wordsley

A family home which has been turned into a stunning establishment, featuring high ceilings, a large central bar and even an upstairs private dining room. You can find Taylor’s Classics traditional dining chairs throughout the space, upholstered in Yarwood Leather’s Mustang range.

The Ashcombe, Colton and Woolner chairs feature Mustang in Oxblood.

Moving through the space, Ashcombe dining chairs feature again, paired with Phillips and Brett chairs, in Mustang Rust.

The final area uses Bottle from the Mustang range, once again on Taylor’s Classics Ashcombe, Phillips and Brett ranges.

Gusto Restaurants

Opening in 2005, Gusto Restaurants have expanded all over the country, 2016 saw the start of an expansion to the restaurant portfolio, Taylor’s Classics provided seating for two new restaurants, Lytham and Leamington Spa.

Gusto Lytham

Being the first Gusto restaurant in the Lancashire area, Gusto wanted the Lytham restaurant to provide a “sparkly and aspirational vibe.” A Grade II listed building was transformed into a stunning 130 cover restaurant with an additional outside terrace. Taylor’s Classics provided their Bentwood Number 33 Upholstered Back Armchair in our Heritage Caramel for the site. The timeless shape of the Number 33 Armchair means it is perfect for both traditional and modern designs.

Gusto Leamington Spa

Another first for the area, Leamington Spa opened in the midlands also using the Number 33 Armchair from Taylor’s Classics. The theme for Gusto Leamington Spa was “stylish, with a relaxed atmosphere.” The armchairs upholstered in our Heritage Caramel provide the perfect seating to enjoy a celebration or family meal.
