Georgian Theatre Royal

Enjoy a visit to the theatre once again.

The Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond is the UK’s oldest working theatre in its original form, which was built in 1788.

To bring it up to date, Race Furniture has been asked to provide more comfortable seating whilst maintaining the buildings authentic heritage.

Yarwood Leather Chelsea Emerald Green, a sumptuously soft, two-tone leather has been chosen for the new auditorium seating. This shade compliments the decor of the space which has been maintained throughout.

The seating which is being replaced dates from the 1960s. Chelsea has added a soft yet durable finish to the chairs which are supplied by Race Furniture.
