Electra Read-Dagg

In her Tottenham workshop creative upholsterer Electra Read-Dagg crafts bespoke furniture for private commissions, furniture dealers and interior designers.

One such piece, INKA, was exhibited as part of the ‘Upholstery: Evolution to Revolution’ exhibition in both The National Centre for Craft and Design and The Geffrye Museum of the Home. This National Lottery funded exhibition featured upholsterers known for “redefining the traditional preconceived role of the upholsterer, combining traditional craft skills with contemporary thinking.”

Electra’s piece INKA was created using Yarwood Leather’s Mustang range in Black. This black distressed leather tone was combined with Mohair Velvet to produce this statement piece.
