Showcasing the new Botany faux leather range, this cruise bar design includes Ivy Mid Bar Stools from Carlick Contract Furniture, which are shown with Botany in Birch on the seat backs, paired with Chelsea leather in Moonstone on the seat pads.

Yarwood Leather recently asked Carlick Contract Furniture to create bespoke pieces for a showcase at the Cruise Ship Interiors Expo, Europe.

An opportunity to showcase to designers the many ways that the leather look can be used throughout cruise ship interior design, not just on seating.

First up, was a bespoke bar, completed with fluted detailing. The vibrant tone of Pumpkin was chosen from the Mustang leather range, it’s striking colour is popular for bringing an energised look to hospitality designs. The Carlick team finished the bar with a top custom made from Versital UK in the complimentary Caramel finish.

Accompanying the bar, were two Maggie High Stools from Carlick Contract Furniture which were upholstered in Vintage faux leather, Chardonnay. Displayed on the stools are custom cushions made by the Yarwood Leather sewing team, on the left Mallion & Knowles Lava fabric, in Rustic and Bobo 1325 fabric To Be The Sea⁠.

For this bespoke wall panelling or headboard, Yarwood asked Carlick to use the metallic finish of Dollaro faux leather in Petrol to create an eye-catching design. Suited to hospitality spaces on board, the rich blue tone brings a uniform pigmented leather look, as well as being easy to clean and anti-microbial. A bench bottom was upholstered in Vintage Chardonnay.

The panel detailing would also suit a neutral leather finish to create relaxing cabin headboards. Comfort in cabin designs is essential and the natural qualities of leather can provide a soothing look to on board life.

The finishing touch from Carlick was a bespoke side table, which again used the Caramel marble look finish from Versital UK.
