Determination of Thickness

Method: BS EN ISO 2589:2002 • Unit of Measure: mm

The determination of thickness is often referred to as measuring the substance of the leather. Since leather is a natural product, there is often variation in thickness throughout the leather, but through careful process control, it should remain within ±0.1mm. Control of thickness is important to ensure reduction of error in furniture manufacture, especially during the sewing stages.

Size (mm) unless specified: 150 x 200
